What will you be doing?

Initially, you will assist other movers in moving someone’s household effects neatly and carefully. You lift, roll and hoist everything from armchair to beanbag from one address to another.

You will master challenges in the form of steep stairs, narrow corridors and tight turns in no time. You’ll be amazed at what you can get done if you turn in a controlled way and keep good communication with your colleague.

You will learn:

  • Transport-worthy packing
  • Healthy lifting techniques
  • Securing loads
  • Working with moving lifts
  • Working with rope and pully
  • (De)assembling furniture

Who are you?

You are a go-getter and enjoy being physically active. You do not avoid a challenge. You remain calm in the face of setbacks and can stand your ground when things do not go as planned. You can work independently with a lot of responsibility, but you do not lose sight of the fact that you are part of a greater whole. You are punctual and careful, both towards your colleagues and the customer. In short: we can rely on you!

What do you get in return?

€2031.39 – €2440.10 gross (FTE) depending on skills.
€14.72 – €17.68 All-in per hour depending on skills.
25% extra salary on weekend days

Als verhuizer bij SVS heb ik elke dag weer een leuke en gezellige werkdag achter de rug. Na werk drinken we af en toe wat en vertelt iedereen op de loods wat voor geks ze hebben meegemaakt, want als verhuizer is geen een dag hetzelfde!

Het werk bij SVS ervaar ik als uitdagend. Dit is een voordeel aangezien je oplossingsgericht te werk moet gaan en het brengt ook veel verantwoordelijkheden met zich mee. Ook fysiek is het uitdagend, maar wel vol te houden.
